Editorial Design project for BA Graphic Design at Ravensbourne.

 

Selecting either a fashion designer, architect or product designer; the brief was to create a fully bound, 24+ page monograph to celebrate a selection of their work.

 

I chose the fashion designer Jeremy Scott and his designs/work for Katy Perry at The 49 Super Bowl halftime show and titled the monograph XLIX (49). 

 

After researching and developing the idea for the monograph I started to collect photographs of his work that would work well with the monograph and started to create my own imagery of his work which is seen in the first and last pages. I was very precise with design decisions which are shown through out the monograph. I used a simple way to bind my monogaph which was by using staple and I printed on to a great paperstock which really complimented the photographs and the powerful colours.
